Hello, Earsh Monkeys
Hello, My name is Yuriko. I come to you from the stars of deep space. My homepage blog is called Time Is Running Out For The Planet Earsh... Let me explain.
In some tokusatsu shows, some characters will pronounce "Chikyuu" as "Chiikyu," which is a mispronunciation. Chikyuu means earth.
In Gekisou Sentai Carranger, they did this very deliberately; Gekisou Sentai Carranger was a fun celebration of the tokusatsu genre and all its quirks and craziness. All the aliens and Uchū Bōsōzoku Bōzokku pronounced "Chikyuu" as "Chiikyu."
I recently got a DVD set of Gekisou Sentai Carranger with English subtitles, and when they say "Chiikyu," the captions say "Earsh" and I thought it was a hilarious mispronunciation of Earth and laughed so much I couldn't catch my breath. So that's why my blog is called Time Is Running Out For The Planet Earsh.
My blog is just about whatever, but it will probably be a lot of video games and TV shows and stuff about my other hobbies.
The Subpages
These are specific topics relegated to their own page. When you are done with a subpage, you will find an NEC logo at the bottom of the page; click that, and it will take you back to the homepage. The subpages are as follows:
Occult
It is all about spooky things... Spells, Hollow Earsh, Yūrei, Yōkai, UFOs, and other strange things.
PC Engine
It is all about my love for the PC Engine and the games in my collection. I thought about giving every game in my collection a ranking of 1-10 stars on this page as well, but I am too much of a PC Engine fan to be objective about the ranking. I love all my games.
Secoma
Secoma is about Seicomart. I work at the Seicomart near my house. Our store is one of the many locations that renovated in 2016 to include a Hot Chef, which is a hot food selection for our customers. Clicking Secoma will take you to Seciomart's official store page.
Poems
Poems is for my poems and artwork, or mockingly referred to as my fart projects.
Cool TV
This is a list of links (mostly for The Internet Archive) to cool television shows. It is mostly tokusatsu, but it has some detective shows and a few animations. I have many DVDs. Blu-rays and VHS tapes of my favorite shows—it was cool to see how many of them you could watch for free, so it is like sharing a show with a friend. I hope you enjoy Cool TV.
Other Notes
I used layouts by REPTH to build my Neocities page. It was very helpful to have a simple structure to start building on. I know it is very basic at this point in time; I am still learning.
